A classy restaurant offering farm-to-table American cuisine.

320 NW 10th St | Oklahoma City |

Ludivine is a modern restaurant offering American classics in an elevated environment. The restaurant is spacious with a mixture of modern and rustic decor. They have both indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy your meal on the patio. The warm lighting creates a romantic ambiance.

Chef Russ Johnson opened Ludivine’s doors in 2010 in the heart of the Midtown district. Chef Russ strived to serve exceptional food and drinks in a fine dining experience without the pompous attitude of many fine-dining restaurants. Ludivine is committed to making their foods from scratch and using classical techniques. Their menu changes on a daily basis based on the ingredients and inspiration of the chef. Wanting ingredients from sustainable businesses, Ludivine formed relationships with local farmers and ranchers to ensure they stocked high-quality seasonal produce, meats, and seafood.

Because their menu changes on a daily basis, we can't recommend a specific dish for you to try. However, the changes make this restaurant more exciting to visit on special occasions because you'll be getting a different meal every time. They do offer charcuterie boards, appetizers, entrees, and desserts along with craft cocktails. So make sure to try an upscale meal on your next date at Ludivine.

“Very happy with my experience here! Among some of the best service that I have received in the city from not only the management but the staff was fantastic. Menu was great, service was excellent and you can tell that the entire staff was there to take care of people and ensure they had a good time. I will return! Keep up the good work and I appreciate everything you did for us!” - Yelp Review

Red Primesteak

A local restaurant housed in a historic building serving high-quality steak in an elevated environment.

504 N Broadway Ave | Oklahoma City |

Sleek, comfortable, romantic. These are the three words I would use to describe Red Primesteak. It has wonderful warm lights and hues, white tablecloths, and dark furniture. It's a lively restaurant with modern decor in a relaxed setting.

Red Primesteak is housed in the 1911 brick building. For those who may not know, Broadway Avenue, where Red Primesteak is located, was part of the growing Oklahoma City and the core of Automobile Alley which was developed around the 1920s. These brick buildings located in Automobile Alley became common for commercial use specifically with businesses related to automobiles but also included hotels and apartment buildings. However, now many businesses including Red Primesteak, use these buildings today. Just a little fun fact about Oklahoma City!

Anyway, Red Primesteak provides a festive setting and sources their steaks from Allen Brothers, a company that provides high-quality USDA prime, Angus, and wagyu stakes. Along with amazing steaks they also offer appetizers, seafood, and a few other entrees to choose from. If you're looking for ambiance and a good steak, stop by Red Primesteak for your next date.

“This is top of the line, premier food.  I'm pretty sure this is the best place to eat in OKC. GET THE SALAD.  GET THE SALAD! The wagyu Tomahawk was well worth the price, and they offer a variety of crusts and sauces to accompany (even though it's perfect without it). The staff was excellent!  Truly a 5 star experience!” - Yelp Review

Cheever’s Cafe

An upscale bistro dishing up Southwestern and Southern cuisine in an elegant environment.

2409 N Hudson Ave | Oklahoma City|

White tablecloths adorn the dark rich wooden tables, chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and windows offer natural lighting at Cheever's Cafe. This restaurant is a romantic spot to enjoy a lunch or a dinner date. Believe it or not, Cheever’s actually began as a flower shop in 1927 run by Oklahoma Bell Cunningham, the first baby born in the newly formed Oklahoma City. After her husband, Lawrence Cheever, became unemployed during the Great Depression, her flower business became the family trade. It thrived for generations and eventually grew to include a dining area and bar. It's become an important part of Oklahoma City's history and a fabulous place where locals love to dine.

Stop by here for brunch, lunch, dinner, or cocktails. For dinner, they offer shared plates, soup, salad, entrees including steaks, chicken, and seafood. If you're stopping by for a lunch date, we recommend starting off with the Roasted Quail Short Stack which is farm-raised quail on corn tortillas and topped with ancho chili sauce, Mexican cheeses, and salsa verde. For an entree try their sandwiches like the fried chicken sandwich with charred jalapeno slaw, pickles, all on a toasted brioche. This is the perfect place to go for a fun date night especially if you're a history buff.

“Cheever's deserves a solid five stars. I've never had a bad experience nor a bad dish. Most recently, I ordered the carbonara and it was to die for. Very rich but delicious. The chicken fried steak is superb. The shrimp and grits are wonderful. The fried chicken sandwich is decadent. The salads are creative and tasty. You can't go wrong with anything you order. And the presentation of the food is spectacular. It is art on a plate. This place makes me happy. Be sure to make reservations because everyone else agrees with me too. :)” -Yelp Review

A fine dining restaurant located on the 49th floor serving new American cuisine.

333 W Sheridan Ave 49th Floor | Oklahoma City |

No doubt you're interested in that 49th-floor aspect of this restaurant. That's part of what makes Vast so special. It's located on the 49th and 50th floors of the Devon Tower in Oklahoma City. The Devon Tower is the tallest skyscraper in the state of Oklahoma. So you can imagine the incredible view you’ll experience dining on the 49th floor. Imagine taking your date to this lovely restaurant in the evening where you can see the glow of Oklahoma City. It's an unforgettable experience.

The view aside, this restaurant is inviting with its warm color scheme from the wooden tables to the golden-hued booths. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to flow in, giving you the best view possible.

Let's talk food now. The menu at Vast is based on the inspiration around their locally sourced ingredients. Stop by for lunch, dinner, or drinks and desserts. For dinner, try their delicious Butternut Squash Bisque made with pickled squash and bacon granola. For dessert, enjoy their Butterscotch Creme Brulee with pistachio biscotti. Between the view and the food, you can't go wrong with Vast.

La Brasa

A vibrant restaurant serving classic Peruvian dishes in a Bohemian atmosphere.

1310 NW 25th St | Oklahoma City |

The word vibrant does not do justice to La Brasa. The interior of the restaurant is nothing short of incredible with plants hanging from the ceiling along with bistro lights. The ceiling is covered with beautifully designed tiles as well. The restaurant feels more like a lounge area thanks to its comfortable cushions and lovely candles on each table. It has unique wall art and interesting lighting that makes this place unforgettable.

La Brasa was established in 2013 and is housed in the historic Kamps Building which is located in Oklahoma City's Asian district. La Brasa wanted to bring a metropolitan and Bohemian vibe to this restaurant creating a unique experience between a lounge and a live music venue. Yes, they do have live music on the weekends!

You can expect delicious Peruvian fare from La Brasa. They offer appetizers, seafood, entrees, salads, and family meals. Their entrees are also out of this world so take a look at every item on the menu before deciding. If you want a lively and memorable experience, make sure to check out the La Brasa.

“I've enjoy meals at La Brasa many times. Can't say enough good things about the food & drinks at this place. Great atmosphere, great service, great food, what more can you ask for... if you haven't gone by try something new and ask for the caramelized Brussel sprouts.  They are the best! They have so much more, enjoy your time and have some great cooking & drinks.” - Yelp Review

Castle Falls

An upscale restaurant in a historic venue serving European cuisine, beer, and wine.

820 N MacArthur Blvd | Oklahoma City |

This is the only restaurant on this list that features a European-inspired cuisine and I'm excited to talk about it. Castle Falls is located in an impressive castle. Just driving there is an experience all to itself with the tree-lined drive and lush lawn. As for the inside of the restaurant, it's cozy and with old-world decor which gives it a feeling like you're in 17th century English manor.

They serve tasty foods including appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, and desserts. Start with their Crab Cakes served with chard poblano remoulade. For your entree, taste their Sauteed Sea Bass made with a Mediterranean sea bass resting on top of roasted garlic quinoa and a lobster cream sauce. Don't forget to save some room for dessert! They offer a dark chocolate mousse with a four berry compote. What better place to have a date than a local castle?

“Another wonderful experience at Castle Falls! We were greeted by the owner Amy and shown to our table promptly.  The set menu was wonderfully prepared and delivered to our table quickly and perfectly executed. Lindsey was our server and she was attentive and friendly as usual (she served us last time we were there).  We ate every bit of each course and look forward to our next visit. I highly recommend.” - Yelp Review
