"A very pretty zoo, with well thought out habitats. The landscaping is beautiful, and the animals are well taken care of. This zoo also sticks to its historical roots, and shares the progress of conservation throughout the years, by repurposing the old inadequate exhibits from its early days into nice areas for smaller species. There is also a Zoozeum that tells the interesting history of the OKC Zoo. If you have a chance to book one of the animal experiences go for it! They are very fun and informative!" - Yelp Review

"We had the best time here last year.  We have been to science museums in lots of big cities - Dallas, Chicago, DC, etc - my kids 3&2 loved this one the most.  They would have stayed here all day. It was busy, but not overly crowded.  Everything was interactive in a way that was appropriate for them and still interesting to me and my husband.  Everything was pretty open to not feel too crowded and I could keep up with them pretty well.  They had a blast, we learned a lot and can not wait to come again.  Also, reasonably priced." - Yelp Review

If you lived in Oklahoma for a while, odds are you know about the Oklahoma City bombing that occurred in April 1995. If you haven't, here's a short version of the story. In 1995 the Alfred P Murrah Federal Building was bombed. The explosion killed 168 people and destroyed a large portion of the building. A permanent national memorial was built to honor all who died, survived, and were affected by the bombing. The Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum has become an integral part of Oklahoma City. If you're wanting a meaningful experience where you can learn more about the tragedy and honor those who were affected by it, visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum.

When you first enter the memorial you'll notice a massive bronze gate that rests at the entrance to the outdoor memorial. There's a twin gate located on the western side. These two gates are the Gates of Time where the eastern gate represents the last moments of peace while the western gate represents the first moments of recovery.

In the outdoor memorial, you'll find several features including the Reflecting Pool with water flowing over black granite and the Survivor Tree which is an American elm that was heavily damaged by the bomb but still survived.

Inside the museum, there are several exhibits and artifacts that are related to the Oklahoma City bombing. They also feature various events in the museum if you want to check those out and plan your visit around a particular event. For those who are into history, the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum is a must-visit.

"This museum was the best I have ever been to hands-down. The flow made sense and you were able to follow along of the timeline of events. I did not know very many details about this historic attack however after visiting this museum I can tell you multiple things! Even personal stories of some survivors. There were interactive activities and stories to read. You could spend anywhere up to 1 to 4 hours in the museum. There is a parking garage across the street which allows free parking with a ticket to the museum. The outdoor memorial is free to visit at any time. Very touching place of history!" - Yelp Review

16425 NW 150th St | Yukon | dodgecitypaintball.com

Located in Yukon to the west of Oklahoma City, you'll find a bright yellow building and an entire paintball field obstacle course. That's a Dodge City Paintball. It was opened by Craig Huxman who played paintball all over the country. He used his experiences and his love of paintball to create this paintball park. Today, groups of people love having their own paintball adventures at this incredible park.

Paintball as a sport has existed since the 1970s and rapidly increased in popularity. It's easy to see why thanks to the physically and mentally challenging aspects of the game. It requires teamwork which makes it a great sport to play with friends. If you have a birthday coming up or you have a group of friends trying to decide what to do on a weekend, make sure to check out Dodge City Paintball.

"BEST PAINTBALL in this area, hands down!!! Spent four hours out there Sunday with 13 crazy 10 year old boys and their Dad's, that thought they were also 10.‍ A fantastic Birthday Party!  The area is very rural and true to life for escape and evade maneuvers. Multiple areas of play, including a wooded area...not something I've seen at other facilities.  Prices are competitive and the staff is amazing and fun with safety being first and foremost.  We are already planning our next trip for our baseball team." - Yelp Review
