13 Breakfast Restaurants in Flagstaff Where You Can Start Your Morning Right

The Best Breakfast (& Brunch) Places You Can Find Around Flagstaff!

Hello dear internet traveler and welcome to my article on the best breakfast places you can find in Flagstaff, Arizona. Flagstaff in general has a pretty thriving restaurant scene so I didn’t have any trouble finding plenty of great breakfast places for you to choose from. However, it can be pretty difficult to get a lot of menu variety in the list when I am writing about one type of restaurant exclusively, but I tried my best to get you some options.

And for each of these restaurants I will link you right to their website so you can check out their menu options (and pricing) before you choose one spot for sure. But when you have decided on a restaurant for sure, I will also provide you with the restaurant's address so that way you can find your way right to their door. In addition I’ll link you to their Yelp page and give you a summary of their style. I will also let you know anytime one of these great breakfast places in Flagstaff accept our convenient digital GiftYa gift cards.

But what the heck is a GiftYa? A GiftYa is a digital gift card that you can not only purchase and send wirelessly, but then is stored as a digital gift card on the recipient’s phone. Which I know might sound goofy to some people, but when you really think about it, aren’t you way more likely to have your phone on you the next time you are looking for a place to eat, then you are likely to have a random gift card you got last Christmas. Their digital format not only makes it easy to keep track of GiftYas, but it also makes it really easy on the recipient to keep track of the balance. There’s no moreatter writing it in sharpie on the back or having to call a number to check the balance. With GiftYa everything can be handled seamlessly from your phone!

But what about all those great breakfast spots in Flagstaff? Well not to worry, there’s no more stalling! Here is your list of great breakfast places in Flagstaff, Arizona!

1. Tourist Home All Day Cafe

Best Place for Breakfast Or Brunch In Flagstaff

52 S San Francisco St | Flagstaff | touristhomecafe.com

Tourist Home All Day Cafe makes it to the number one spot on my list of best breakfast places in Flagstaff for a couple of different reasons. The first reason is that they have an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from their customers. They have a four and a half star rating on Yelp with nearly a thousand reviews in the bag, which is absurdly consistent. It also puts my mind to ease when I recommend them to somebody. I know that they are knocking it out of the park time after time. Customer after customer, and I have no reason to believe your experience will be any different.

And speaking of your experience, you can count on having all of the breakfast classics available at the Tourist Home All Day Cafe! Everything from homemade french toast to breakfast burritos are on the menu. So no matter who is in your dining party, I feel confident the Tourist Home All Day Cafe will have something on the menu that sounds amazing to them!

“Oh yes! I say yes, yes, yes!!! This place is fabulous, the food is to die for and the atmosphere is so Flag. I love that the ordering is easy and the staff is always ready to assist with recommendations. I recommend the breakfast and the pastries.” - Yelp Review

2. Over Easy

Modern Twist On Breakfast Classics

2500 S Woodlands Village Blvd | Flagstaff | eatatovereasy.com/flagstaff

Over Easy makes it to the number two spot on the list today because they also have fantastic customer feedback like the Tourist Home All Day Cafe, but they also happen to offer a little bit of menu variety. Now Over Easy is going to have all the breakfast classics that you expect, but they add a modern spin on it. One great example is their french toast. Whereas everywhere serves the classic version of french toast, Over Easy serves banana nut french toast. Which is basically like all the amazing parts of a banana nut muffin, but added to the already delicious base of french toast.

And they have interesting takes on all the breakfast classics, but just so you know, you can also just order the breakfast the usual way you like it, if you are worried about a picky eater in your party.

“I had the two egg breakfast and substituted the toast for the banana French toast and it was delicious. The hubs had the same but with biscuits and gravy which was also delicious. Also, the chef cooked our over medium eggs perfectly with runny yolk, no runny whites and no crunchy sides. Delicious! And the oj is fresh squeezed.” - Yelp Review

3. MartAnne’s Breakfast Palace

A Great Mexican Place With A Full Breakfast Menu

112 E Rt 66 | Flagstaff | martannes.com

MartAnne’s Breakfast Palace rounds out the top three of my list of great breakfast spots in Flagstaff. And this is because they have thousands of positive reviews in already. But more than that, they also offer me a chance to get some more variety in the menu options on the list.

Whereas most everywhere else on the list just serves the classic American breakfast menu, MartAnne’s serves a Mexican style menu. Which means you can get all kinds of breakfast classics you are used to, but also plenty of new options that you don’t find at every breakfast place you encounter.

The nice thing is they split the breakfast menu into two sides. The one side has all their incredible Mexican style breakfast options, while the other side lists all the standard breakfast fare you might expect. All in all MartAnn’es Breakfast Palace is a great breakfast spot no matter how picky an eater you might have in your party.

“We've been wanting to try this place forever. We finally did and it's sooo good! The food came out fast and super hot, not to mention the portions were huge. We will definitely be coming back.” - Yelp Review

4. The Toasted Owl Cafe

A Great Cafe For Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch

12 S Mikes Pike St | Flagstaff | thetoastedowl.com

The Toasted Owl Cafe is another breakfast place in Flagstaff that has pretty excellent customer reviews. They have a four star rating with over 1000 reviews already. But I think what really brings them so high on the list is that they also just so happen to feature a full bar. So if you are interested in having a fancy Sunday morning brunch with a couple of mimosas to wash it down, then the Toasted Owl is gonna be my number one breakfast spot for you in Flagstaff!

“What a gem!! From the whimsical patio and fun owl decor inside to the absolutely delicious breakfast I highly recommend a stop here. We were in Flagstaff overnight to see the fall color and stopped here for breakfast. Jalapeño bacon was delicious, coffee strong and hot, and the pancakes are HUGE!! Waitstaff super friendly - I even got a coffee to go! Make a trip in - you won't regret it.” - Yelp Review

5. Morning Glory Cafe

Best Spot for A Vegan Breakfast In Flagstaff

115 S San Francisco St | Flagstaff | morningglorycafeflagstaff.com

Morning Glory Cafe also happens to have a high rating with their customers, but what really brings them to the list today is that they are the only place where you can get a fantastic vegan breakfast in Flagstaff! And while I know not everybody is vegan, I imagine there’s a good chance there is somebody in your dining party with some sort of dietary restrictions, and if that is the case definitely give Morning Glory Cafe a try. I find a place that is focused on serving vegan and vegetarian options are also typically very accommodating of any other dietary restrictions.

“Cute local spot. Made with lots of care and attention! Lots of healthy and vegan fare, and delicious. Fresh ingredients, huge portions.” - Yelp Review

Great Spot for A Quick Breakfast In Flagstaff

2400 E Route 66 | Flagstaff | goodeatson66.com

If you want a great high quality breakfast, but you want it quickly, then the Eat n’ Run Cafe is going to be perfect for you. They have an extensive breakfast and brunch menu and they focus on serving it up in a quick and friendly manner. But don’t mistake them for a fast food place. They source most of their menu from local vendors and farmers. So you can feel good knowing that you got an amazing breakfast, but you also spent your dollar in a way that is positive for the local community. And what makes a great meal better than being able to feel good about it afterwards?

“Definitely one of the best breakfast tacos/burritos I've had. Friendly staff. Coffee took a while but the food made up for it. Also try their vanessa coffee, that prickly pear flavor makes perfect harmony to the coffee. It's a quiet little place.” - Yelp Review
