Good day to you fine internet explorer. I am guessing that you are here looking for some great breakfast restaurants that you can find around Moab, Utah. I mean, if you’re here for any other reason, this probably isn’t going to be what you are looking for. But for those of you who do need to know where to find a great breakfast around Moab I have just the thing for you. This is my article on the best breakfast places you can find around the area. And I’ll be sure to link to each restaurant’s website when I can. That way you can check out their menu pricings and options more in depth in case something catches your eye.

I’ll also be sure to give you their address so you can find your way to their front door, and I’ll even post a review from another customer so you can see what other people have had to say. I tried my best to find restaurants that have something unique about them that will really help you narrow down your search. But to be honest, there’s only so much that can be done when the article has to be written exclusively about one type of restaurant and one type only. But I think I found some good variety at some really incredible places. But you read on and you be the judge!

1 - Love Muffin Cafe

Love Muffin Cafe has been around since 2008. And in the years they have been open they have earned quite the reputation for themselves as being the go to restaurants in Moab for breakfast or brunch. They have a four and a half star Yelp rating with over 500 reviews in. Which means that not only are they meeting people’s high expectations, they are doing it time and time again and it’s easy to see how they are doing that.

They specialize in all local, organic, and seasonal ingredients. So you know when you eat here you are only helping support a small business. You are supporting a small ethical business that in turn is supporting local farmers and businesses as well. And you’ll absolutely get what you pay for here. They make the bread fresh every morning for all the sandwiches and paninis and they even prepare all their own sauces and dressings!

2 - Hidden Cuisine

Hidden Cuisine makes it to the number two spot on my list because they too have a very high amount of positive customer feedback. But on top of that they offer a bit of a different take on the traditional breakfast you are used to. Because they serve plenty of classic American breakfast dishes, but they also offer great choices like bobotie and South African ribs. But more than anything, I think I like how open and welcoming they are for a place called Hidden Cuisine.

Since they are in Moab, they are used to seeing travelers of all different kinds at their restaurants. And as such they make sure there is plenty of room to park your car, jeep, RV, or whatever you drive. And they even feature a pet friendly outdoor patio so that way those of you who are lucky enough to be traveling with your favorite canine companion can enjoy your whole vacation together and not be forced to choose between your dog and a meal!

3 - Jailhouse Cafe

I’m not gonna sit here and try to tell you Jailhouse Cafe is something other than what it is. And what it is is a small American breakfast and brunch diner. They may not have the fanciest tables or dishware, but they more than make up for it with the excellent portion sizes, fair prices, and friendly atmosphere. You can get scrambles, omelets, pancakes, and platters that are the staples of the American breakfast experience. 

The menu itself isn’t super extravagant or deep. But what they make, they make very well and they serve it at a fair price. And I’ll be honest, they don’t have much of a web presence. I can only assume because it is most likely been run by the same people who have been running it for the past 20 years. But you don’t just have to take my word for it. You can see it in all their excellent reviews!

If you aren’t looking for the full on breakfast experience and are interested in having an amazing cup of coffee with a breakfast pastry or a nice sandwich, then Moab Garage Co. is going to be just the spot for you. They make a wide variety of different tea and coffee beverages. You can get everything from a mocha, an americano, an espresso, an espresso macchiato, a latte. If it’s a popular coffee drink then they are going to have you covered.

And while you enjoy your amazing coffee drink you can munch on one of their great breakfast sandwiches or pastries. And if it’s too late for breakfast, don’t worry, they also feature a full lunch menu. They even have a special lunch menu for kids so that way everybody can enjoy the Moab Garage Co if you are treating your kids to a meal out on the town!

5 - Gloria’s

Incredible Juice and Smoothie Bar In Moab

Sometimes you really don’t need a giant breakfast to start your day off right. Sometimes just an amazing juice or smoothie will do the trick and get your metabolism started in a health conscious way. And that is exactly where Gloria’s comes into the picture. They do have a breakfast and brunch menu filled with everything from french toast to breakfast burritos. But what Gloria’s is really known for is their incredible drink menu. 

They have over 14 different types of smoothies ranging from everything from strawberry twist to chai tea, as well as 6 kinds of juices that they make fresh in house. So whether you are looking for a big filling brunch, or just need a healthy smoothie to help get your day started on the right foot, you can’t go wrong stopping in at Gloria’s!

And I usually assume this goes without saying, but as a juice and smoothie bar, they are obviously going to have vegan and vegetarian options aplenty.

6 - Canyon Steak and Waffle

If you aren’t looking for a breakfast place that also has a whole smoothie shop attached to it, maybe Canyon Steak and Waffle will appeal to you more. They serve up all kinds of American breakfast and brunch classics in a nice calm environment. They serve a hearty filling breakfast that ranges from everything from a pancake sandwich to steak and eggs. 

To be honest they seem to be a pretty new business because their website says it’s launching in 10 days (at the time of this writing) so I’m hoping by the time you guys get to read this the website is up and running and you can get a full look at their menu before you decide!

7 - Bonjour Bakery Cafe

Bonjour Bakery Cafe rounds out my list of best breakfast places in Moab. To be honest, they appear to be just starting out since they don’t have a website yet, and only a couple of Yelp reviews posted. But from what people have posted this is a wonderful little bakery with all kinds of great pastries, coffees, and breakfast options that is sure to fit your budget. 

And they do it all with a warm and welcoming attitude. I’ll be real, they really got the spot on this list because it is incredibly hard for new restaurants to get a stable customer base. So anytime I see a small mom and pop business like this that needs a little extra exposure, I always try to do my part and give them a shout out!
