8 Hotels Near Arches National Park Where You Can Rest & Relax Between Adventures

From Locally Owned Hotels and Motels to the Moab Outposts of National Hotel Chains, Here’s Where to Stay Near Arches

Arches National Park is one of our nation’s most beloved national parks. And it’s pretty easy to understand why when you see the beautiful and unique topography of the area that you really can’t find anywhere else. So if you are planning a vacation to Arches and are looking for a great place to rest your head at night, then this article is going to be just the thing you are looking for.

Today I have a list of all the great hotels you can find around the area. I’ll try to give you the most accurate prices you will pay for a room at each of these places the best that I can. But keep in mind that during the peak season (late spring, summer, and early fall) there is so much more foot traffic in the area that the prices of rooms will spike pretty drastically. So I would recommend you reserve a room as early as possible.

1 - Fairfield Inn & Suites Moab

The Hotel That Is Closest to Arches National Park

1863 N Hwy 191 | Moab | marriott.com

Fairfield Inn & Suites is the hotel in the area that is the absolute closest to Arches National Park. It’s literally only five minutes from the park, so if you are hoping to spend as much time as possible exploring the park, and the least amount of time possible commuting, then this is going to be the best hotel for you. They have all the amenities you expect from a hotel like a complimentary breakfast, a fantastic outdoor pool, a fitness center, and rooms that are equipped with mini-fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, free WiFi and smart tvs where you can stream all of your favorites.

You can get a room here for as low as $75 a night in the offseason, but they can run you up to $260 a night during the busy season. So if you are hoping to spend as much of your trip as possible exploring the park and avoid wasting hours stuck in traffic you aren’t going to be able to beat that price!

“We loved this hotel. Super fun pool area with lots of yard games to play (checkers, connect four, ping pong).
Great location; less than five minutes to arches National park.
We'd stay here again for sure.” - Yelp Review

2 - Moab Springs Ranch

Bungalows and Townhouses On A Private Property With Beautiful Landscaping

1266 N Hwy 191 | Moab | moabspringsranch.com

Moab Springs Ranch is one of the most popular hotels you can find near Arches National Park. And the reason it has become so popular is because it features a large private park, a heated swimming pool, hot tubs, beautiful ponds, grills to barbeque on, nice flowing water features, and hammocks that are hung in the shade of the gorgeous cottonwood trees that grow on the property.

And you get all of that luxury in one convenient location that is located by downtown Moab, Arches National Park, and the Colorado River. And in the past couple of years they have even started offering private bungalows with private decks and kitchenettes in them that also feature convenient parking right next to the bungalow.

They offer one, two, and three bedroom townhouses that have full kitchens in them with covered parking and patios. And on top of all of that, they even strive to be an eco-friendly property. So even though you can’t get just a standard room like you would in a generic hotel, you get a much more private and secluded place to spend your nights after a long day of exploring Arches National Park. They even have bike access to some of the incredible trails that surround Moab.

The accommodations average out to around $286 dollars a night. But that can vary pretty widely with the season. So if you are planning on going in the summertime, you might be able to save some money by booking well in advance.

“Stayed in one of the bungalows. Absolutely lovely space -- cozy, comfortable, with a kitchenette included. Ideal for resting up after exploring Arches and Canyonlands, with a coffee shop on the property and Moab about five minutes away.” - Yelp Review

3 - Best Western Plus Canyonlands Inn

A Classic Hotel Near Arches With All the Modern Amenities

16 S Main St | Moab | bestwestern.com

If you are hoping to save some money on your lodgings during your trip to Arches National Park and are willing to sacrifice some of the luxury that Moab Springs Ranch offers then you are going to want to check out The Best Western Plus in Canyonlands. You will be able to stay here for a significantly cheaper price because their average nightly rate is around $190 a night. And for that money you will get everything that you need to unwind after a long day of exploring the park. Each room obviously has free Wi-Fi access and a high definition tv. And there is of course  a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a coffee pot. And there is even a full exercise room for those of you who want to stay on your exercise routine while you are on your vacation to  Arches National Park. I mean, I would think hiking around the park all day would be enough for most people, but I understand that staying on a routine can be really helpful for many people/

“This hotel truly felt like a resort to me. Great location within walking distance of food and shopping. Hot beverage station in the lobby. Outdoor patio for guest use with fire tables and views. Very clean and friendly staff. Excellent big hot and cold breakfast options with labels for allergy foods and options.  Well worth it for location and amenities.” - Yelp Review

100 W 200th S St | Moab | gonzoinn.com

The Gonzo Inn is a hotel near Arches National Park that is a lot more fun than your standard hotel is. It was even designed with the comfort and fun of their guests in mind. The hotel itself is a little bit eclectic. There’s everything from your standard southwest influences, retro 1970s era decorations, and even some decorations from the industrial era.

It makes the hotel a lot more entertaining than your standard hotel and will keep tantalizing and invigorating your senses. They have plenty of superior furnishings and the rooms are uniquely decorated with plenty of vibrant colors and hand-selected materials. You can certainly find plenty of other hotels around Arches National Park (I mean obviously, how else could I write a whole article if you couldn’t) but you won’t find another hotel like The Gonzo Inn anywhere else!

Their nightly rates drop below $100 a night in the offseason, but you can expect them to be around $200 a night during the peak season. But you will truly get a unique experience at The Gonzo Inn that you can’t find anywhere else!

“There is no better place to stay in Moab.  Great rooms, great pool with bbq deck, diy laundry, secure bike storage and    Awesome breakfast/coffee shop attached.   Can't ask for more!” - Yelp Review

And you can even get a specific pet-friendly room if you are hoping to bring your favorite pet with you on your trip to Arches. And you can get all of that for as low as $80 a night in the off season, but the more luxurious rooms can run you close to around $400 a night in the peak season.

“Start off by saying this hotel has the best staff they are so nice. Rooms are clean breakfast was really good. They deserve a 10 star” - Yelp Review

570 N Main St | Moab | incainn.com

The Inca Inn Motel is a non-chain motel that has been a part of Moab for over 60 years. And they haven’t managed to stay in business for so long by providing a subpar experience for their guests. The nice thing is that you can get a room for as low as $60 a night in the offseason, but might see that price spike to over $100 a night in the busy season.

But the Inca Inn Motel is where “budget is done better.” You can enjoy this retro style motel right on main street in Moab. Which means you will be just as close to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park as you would at any of the more expensive places on the list.

But you can also feel good at staying at this motel because they are solar powered and locally owned. You aren’t going to get a pool, gym, and hot tub at this small motel, but you will get a tv, free WiFi, a fridge, and a microwave in a clean room with a comfortable bed for the best price you can find in the area!

“Surprisingly really clean! The staff was super friendly and checked us in in less than 5 minutes. Next to a Mediterranean restaurant. Will be coming back.” - Yelp Review
