Which is just insanely consistent. You know they have to be doing something right to get a positive response time after time after time.

Another big reason that Billy Q’s comes in at the top of my list because while they offer the best pizza in all of Palm Desert, they also offer plenty of pasta, sandwich, and salad options. And when it comes to putting together a list that consists of just the best pizza places in a city, it’s hard to get much menu diversity in the list. But Billy Q’s lets me start the list off with a pizza place that also provides plenty of other options in case you have a picky eater in your party which is kind of a win win for me.

Norman’s Italian Kitchen of Rancho Mirage makes it to number two on my list of great pizza places in Palm Desert for two reasons really. First of all, they have a very high customer rating with hundreds of reviews left. And on top of that, much like Billy Q’s, they aren’t just a pizza place. Now they certainly have great pizza, some of the best in all of Palm Desert, but that’s not the only incredible option on their menu. They have plenty of classic Italian dishes and pastas. As well as plenty of sandwiches and desserts. And in my opinion, nothing makes a great pizza better than having a great salad or pasta on the side with it, and that is exactly what you and your dining party can do at Norman’s Italian Kitchen!

3. Bill’s Pizza

A Pizza Place In Palm Desert That Goes the Extra Mile

There’s a lot of great pizza places on the list today. But Bill’s Pizza is the only one that takes making their pizza so seriously that they actually import all the flour used in their dough from Italy itself. That means that they pay to have flour shipped all the way across the Atlantic Ocean just for the sake of authenticity.

Now I can’t say how much the flour makes a difference on its own, I mean all flour is pretty bland when you think about it, but the imported flour, the extra virgin olive oil, and the homemade sausage all come together to give you a pizza that is pretty out of this world. So if what you are looking for is the absolute best slice of pizza you can find in all of Palm Desert then be sure to give Bill’s Pizza a try. Everybody else seems to be very impressed with them.

Piero’s PizzaVino makes it onto the list for a few reasons. Obviously they have a high rating with their customers, but on top of that they also offer authentic Neapolitan style pizza, pasta, and other Italian cuisines. Piero’s isn’t necessarily the fanciest place on the list, but everybody seems to really enjoy their food.

And what’s not to enjoy about an authentic Neapolitan style pizza? I mean it’s not super easy to get a ton of different menu options when every place I’m writing about is a pizza place, so it’s nice for me that there is somewhere that is so good, that also just so happens to serve a unique and delicious style of pizza that actually is pretty different from the standard pizza you get at most pizza places.

But on top of that, they give you pizza made with fresh quality ingredients. And on top of that, they have been around since 2004. So you know they’re at least good enough to withstand a couple of recessions. And if their business can survive, and thrive, through all of those monumental down turns, you know they have to be doing something right.

Supposedly, one in three restaurants aren’t able to keep the doors open during their first year. So you can imagine how good a place must be to be open for nearly two decades and survive multiple recessions on top of that. It takes a really special place to become a cornerstone of a community over time the way Sabatino’s has.

Unlike a lot of the other pizza places on the list today Stuft features a full bar. So not only can you get a hot fresh pizza, you can also order plenty of beers and cocktails to wash it down.

And I don’t know about you, but to me, that sounds like a pretty nice Friday night. And that is a big reason Stuft makes it onto the list. It’s not just that they have some of the best pizza in Palm Desert, they also serve that pizza up in a unique atmosphere and environment that really makes them stand out among pizza places in Palm Desert in my opinion.

When I personally am on the road and my options for pizza are Papa John’s, Domino’s, or Pizza Hut, I will end up going with Papa John’s every time.
