Repeal 33 comes in at the top of my list for best restaurants in downtown Savannah Georgia for a couple of reasons. They have a great rating amongst their customers and consumers which certainly plays into their spot at the top, but it really the versatility of the restaurants that puts it at the top of the list. They serve an excellent menu of modern American style cuisine. Then they have an award winning bar filled with all kinds of magnificent cocktails and drinks. And then on top of all that, they are also able to host large events for parties that are bigger than normal. You really can’t go wrong here! But beware, they do stay quite busy so you will be better off getting a reservation than just showing up at the door.

Wright Square Bistro comes in art the number two slot on my list today. And the reason they didn’t come in first place is that their menu simply isn’t as diverse as Repeal 33’s is. However, if you are looking specifically for an amazing lunch spot, then this is for sure going to be your best choice in downtown Savannah. You can expect an amazing assortment of high quality sandwiches, which are serve in a calming cafe setting. And just like any other cafe worth it’s salt (or sugar?) they also have a gr4eat variety of delicious dessert choices.

Joe’s Crab Shack is a national seafood chain, but they are also one of the best options for seafood if you are in downtown Savannah. I put them this high up on the list because I think they are all around your best option for seafood in downtown Savannah. You can trust that they are at least going to deliver an experience that is good enough to support a national brand. I can’t say they are absolutely going to blow you away, but if you are looking for seafood downtown, then they will be able to deliver a perfectly satisfactory experience.

45 Bistro would have come in higher up on the list if it weren’t for the fact that I feel they are a little pricey for what they deliver. However, if you are looking for an experience, that is more than just a meal, the 45 Bistro might be the perfect spot in downtown Savannah for you. They serve a delicious French cuisine in the Historic Marshall house in Savannah. So not only do you get an excellent high end DFrench meal, you also get to have it in a beautiful and historic setting, which really elevates the meal to a whole other level in my opinion.

They really offer you the full ion take of southern hospitality which ensures that your meal is going to be above and beyond bin every single aspect where they can feasibly provide it. And in top of that, you also get to feel great about the dollars you spend at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room because it is in fact a family owned small business. So not only do you get a great meal. You also get to feel good about supporting a small business.

Circa 1875 round sout my list of best restaurants in downtown Savannah Georgia. And that is because I already have a restaurant that serves a delicious menu of French cuisine. ANd while I normally would try to avoid recommending too many restaurants of the same type, Circa 1875 serves delicious French food in more of a pub style setting. If you are looking for a delicious French meal, in a more relaxed atmosphere Circa 1875 is going to be the spot for you.

Alligator Soul is one of those restaurants that’s a little difficult to pin down in terms of style and menu. If I had to choose I would describe them as Southern or Cajun style cuisine. I mean with a name like Alligator Soul what else would you be expecting. But don’t let the name fool you, just because they have a fun name, doesn’t mean that they don’t serve an excellent upscale menu. Sure they lack the pretense that many upscale dining establishments love to portray, but they more than make up for that with an excellent staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and an amazing menu of delicious courses.
