Loula’s Cafe comes in at the top of my list of best breakfast places in Whitefish for a few reasons. First and foremost is the fact that Loula’s has overwhelmingly positive customer feedback. In fact they boast a four and a half star rating with over 500 reviews left behind by customers. And I love to see a place that is consistently delivering up to and beyond customers’ expectations. It makes it very easy to recommend them to you when I know everybody else who eats there is also enjoying their meal.

But beyond that, Loula’s has a great balanced menu for a breakfast place. They have breakfast, brunch, and cafe food. But they really seem to make incredible french toast. They make it with different kinds of toppings and even make a lemon stuffed version that sounds out of this world to me! And when a breakfast place is getting out of this world reviews for breakfast staples like french toast and eggs benedict, you know they are also making everything else great at breakfast time! Which is why Loula’s made it to the top of the list over some other really great breakfast places in the rest of Whitefish.

The Buffalo Cafe has been serving the community in Whitefish for decades. And you know anytime a restaurant can withstand the ups and downs of our economic system for multiple decades, you know they are doing something right. That being said, the Buffalo Cafe specializes in providing an excellent menu all day long. But people really seem to love their breakfast. Just take a look at their Yelp page and you can see how many of their most well reviewed and beloved dishes come from their breakfast menu. They have incredible french toast, great eggs benedict, and a classic breakfast platter that looks out of this world!

Swift Creek Cafe more than anything seems to care most about providing high quality and homemade food. They make all of their bread in house. So you know that it’s fresh. And you also know that it isn’t full of all sorts of preservatives and chemicals that you can’t even pronounce. They carry that authenticity to every part of their business. The owner himself comes from a family with a coffee plantation so they control the coffee from the first step all the way until you take the first sip. And on top of the incredible homemade breads and fresh coffee, the Swift Creek Cafe also has a full breakfast and lunch menu. So it makes a great spot for early morning breakfast or a nice mid-day lunch.

Met the chef and he is also super nice and friendly - he mentioned his father is from Panama and his family makes the coffee. Some people are looking for a sure thing when they are spending money to go out to eat. So if you are the kind of person who wants to know exactly what you are gonna get before you sign up to spend money in some place, then IHOP is gonna be a great spot in Whitefish for you to grab breakfast. Ihop is one of the leading breakfast chains in the country. But it isn't fast food, you still get to go in, sit down at  a table, have a cup of coffee, and look at a menu. While I’m not gonna claim it’s absolutely going to blow you away, I can tell you that you are going to get a hot, filling breakfast, at a fair price.

The thing I love about Amazing Crepes is not only the fact that they have amazing crepes, they do, but they also take the extra effort to make sure everybody can enjoy one. They even have a very popular gluten free crepe. I personally don’t know how you make a crepe gluten free, but I do know that there are lots of people out there with different types of dietary restrictions so I always try to make sure to get a place that is very accommodating of their customer’s needs.

And in the town of Whitefish, Amazing Crepes was my choice of a restaurant that everybody could enjoy. But don’t worry, it’s not like I put them on the ist just because they have gluten free crepes, they also have a four and a half star rating with hundreds of reviews in!

Montana Coffee Traders is a business that provides a subscription service so that you can get their coffee delivered right to your front door as often as you would like. That is how good their coffee is. Now that being said, they also have brick and mortar stores and they happen to have one in Whitefish. 

And obviously you are going to be able to get a great cup of coffee there, but you can also get breakfast and pastries as well. So if you are really more of a coffee person than a breakfast person then Montana Coffee Traders is going to be my number one spot in Whitefish for you to find breakfast. And just like the other local spots on the list, Montana Coffee Traders also boasts a very positive rating in their customer reviews.

The fun thing about Krispy Kreme is that they have a light they put on so that you know if the donuts are fresh or not. So if you are looking for a quick hot breakfast around Whitefish one morning be sure to give Krispy Kreme a try. It obviously isn’t gonna be the healthiest breakfast for you, it is donuts afterall. So I wouldn’t endorse making it an everyday habit, but hey when you are in a hurry on the road, nothing soothes road rage better than a hot donut fresh from the oven.
