5101 N Kings Hwy | Myrtle Beach | aspen-grille.com
Aspen Grille comes in the number one spot on my list of the best steakhouses in Myrtle Beach for one very simple reason today. They, more than any of the other great restaurants on the list today, have a disproportionately positive rating from their customers and clientele. And on top of having a universally positive customer feedback rating, Aspen Grille also has another great feature that brought it to the top of the list today. And that is the fact that on top of being a great steakhouse, they also offer an extensive seafood menu, as well as all of the classic entrees you associate with American dining.
“My husband and I were celebrating our 19th Anniversary here and it did not disappoint. When we were brought to our table, there was a nice Happy Anniversary card at the table. That was a really unexpected and nice touch. Tim took really good care of us and the food was right on point. We will definitely be back again.” - Yelp Review
Aspen Grille is one of the thousands of restaurants that accept digital GiftYa gift cards but it is also among one of the highest rated steak restaurants in Myrtle Beach!
9706 N Kings Hwy | Grand Stand | thoroughbredsrestaurant.com
Family owned and operated for its 30+ year history, Thoroughbreds Chophouse & Seafood Grille has a reputation for excellence among locals and tourists alike. The fine dining restaurant brings a luxurious ambiance to the table with warm wood, sparkling chandeliers, and rare equine oil paintings adorning the walls.
But all that ambiance wouldn’t mean a thing without the winning steak selection. Whether you choose the strip steak, filet mignon, or another steak, rest assured it will be cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection.
“For the best steaks in town this is the best restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The service is excellent and the ambiance is beautiful.” – Yelp Review
9911 N Kings Hwy | Myrtle Beach | carolinasteakhouse.com
If you are looking for not only a great steak, but to make sure you spend your dollar in a responsible way, then Carolina Seafood & steak is going to be just the spot for you. They are locally owned and serve local seafood and beef. So you will know that your dollar went to support small business owners and farmers. And really what makes an already great meal better than knowing the dollar that bought that meal helped make the world a better place in a small, but tangible way?
“Party of 7.waitress great. Very friendly. Drinks came right away then a delicious salad that was included. Food was great...everyone over it. Quantity was generous.” - Yelp Review
411 79th Ave N | Myrtle Beach | fireandsmokemb.com
Made from scratch makes a difference – at least, that’s what Chef Tyler Rice and the staff at Fire and Smoke Gastropub believe. Everything on the menu is made from the finest fresh ingredients in the complete scratch kitchen. The menu features unique selections like Asian-style pork belly and bison and wild boar meat loaf as well as locally sourced seafood.
But the real star of the show is, of course, the steak. Every steak served at Fire and Smoke Gastropub is USDA Prime Midwestern aged beef that is expertly prepared on a wood-fired grill. Don’t forget to grab a creative bourbon cocktail to wash it all down!
“Family friendly atmosphere and they know steak. I'm giving this place 5 stars because it was a dinner I'll remember forever. Food and experience was amazing.” – Yelp Review
6429 N Kings Hwy | Myrtle Beach | gauchosusa.com
What’s better than steak? All you can eat steak. Pay for your plate, and then eat your fill of meat, grilled to perfection. The menu starts with picanha – Gauchos’ signature steak, sliced thin and lightly seasoned with rock salt. Looking for some extra flavor? The tender and juicy garlic picanha is a great next step, but you’ll definitely want to sample the spicy top sirloin, Parmesan-crusted pork sausage, filet mignon, flavorful bottom sirloin, and more.
Enjoy salad and sides, and try to save room for dessert – the chocolate cake is the ultimate way to conclude such a decadent feast.
“I've been to Brazil and loved the food in that country. I hadn't found anything close to authentic Brazilian food until we came here. The meats were hot and tender and the salads were fresh. Superb.” –Yelp Review
719 N Beach Blvd | North Myrtle Beach | 21mainatnorthbeach.com
Myrtle Beach is full of luxurious resorts – new among them North Beach Plantation. Located on a 7 ½ acre island between the Atlantic Ocean and White Point Swash, the resort – and its magnificent prime steakhouse, 21 Prime – offer gorgeous views of the ocean waves throughout your meal.
The USDA Prime and Certified Angus Beef steaks at 21 Main are cooked the traditional way – seared on the outside, and cooked to your liking on the inside. Whether you choose the Tomahawk Ribeye or the New York strip, 21 Main recommends all of their steaks be cooked no more than medium, but they are happy to accommodate your needs and requests.
“This is one of the best steakhouses I've eaten at in years! The steaks are aged to perfection. Very tasty. The filets are like butter, easy to cut just like it melts in your mouth. Excellent Steak House, excellent service, what else could you ask for.” – Yelp Review

407 N 21st Ave | Myrtle Beach | sohomb.com
Soho Steak and Seafood is another excellent option for steak in Myrtle Beach, but their ratings aren’t quite as universally high as some of the other spots on our listWhich makes me feel like there is a bit more risk in what kind of evening you might have there. But all of that aside, they have an incredible menu that consists of, well, exactly what it sounds like. Seafood, steak, and sushi. But the cool thing about that is it’s not just steak and seafood. It’s steak and seafood prepared in traditional Japanese ways. Which means it's going to be a different type of steak or seafood than you might find at the Aspen Grille.
And I figure since we are looking for the best steakhouses in Myrtle Beach, we are looking for a variety of different steak options. It wouldn’t do much good for me to recommend you a list of restaurants that are mostly the exact same except they decrease in quality with each subsequent recommendation. That feels pointless to me, so instead I like when a great restaurant also has a unique menu, and that is exactly what you will find at Soho Steak & Seafood Sushi bar.
“Beautiful rooftop seating, delicious food and friendly service. We tried a few sushis and lo mein. Lomein was one of the most flavorful I have tried. Not inexpensive but fair price especially because the servings are big.” - Yelp Review

1206 S Kings Hwy | Myrtle Beach | mantasushibarmb.kwickmenu.com
Manta Steak Sushi and Sushi is another option on our list that serves steak and sushi. But the thing that really brings them onto the list today is the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff that they feature. Let’s face it, a lot of good steakhouses can be a little uptight and stuffy. And that can really diminish how much you enjoy the evening. It’s no fun if you can’t relax. But you don’t have to worry about that if you stop into Manta Steak and Seafood Sushi Bar.
“MANTA STEAK & SEAFOOD SUSHI BAR on Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach is a great place to go for delicious food in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here.” - Yelp Review

New York Prime is going to bring cuts of steak in the classic New York steakhouse style. When you think of the classic steakhouse, this is the one on the list that is most likely going to deliver that experience for you. Not only can you count on only the finest cuts, but also an extensive and award winning wine menu. And the staff knows exactly which wine is going to compliment your meal the best. So you can be sure everything from the steak to the ambiance are going to be of the highest quality.
“It's one of those places as a local you wish everyone would rate a bit lower so it's easier to get in during season, since you want to return so often. The food, presentation, and service are all top notch. Great Job.” - Yelp Review
7025 N Kings Hwy | Myrtle Beach | outback.com
Closing out the bottom of my list today on the best steakhouses in Myrtle Beach is Outback Steakhouse. And the reason I am including them is because Myrtle Beach is a big tourist destination, and maybe you are one of those people who wants a sure thing when they are spending money on a night out. And since you are already spending plenty on a vacation it’s totally reasonable to want to know for sure that you are going to get a meal you’ll enjoy.
Outback is a big successful national chain, I am betting plenty of readers have been to an Outback before, and even if they didn’t absolutely love it, had an enjoyable enough evening dining there. And that is the reason I include them on the list today. I want to make sure everybody who is reading this has an option that works for them.
“Typical chain, pretty good though. Had some poor ratings so we were skeptical but turned out pretty good.” - Yelp Review
