Seattle probably isn’t the first city you think of when it comes to dining on delicious Hawaiin food. But Kauai Family Restaurant successfully brings the state’s famous dishes to this bustling Pacific Northwest city. Since 1993, Kauai has served as the premier destination for authentic and savory Hawaiin food.

Located in the heart of Georgetown, Kauai offers an appetizing selection of Hawaiin dishes such as Cucumber Kimchi, Ahi Poke, Hawaiin BBQ Chicken, and more. Guests also enjoy the restaurant’s cozy and intimate atmosphere. However, Kauai is currently only open for take out due to the lockdown orders.

“I love this place! Also a bonus that Cakes of Paradise is next door. I came here to pick up lunch and got the crispy chicken w gravy. I used to always order the crispy ginger chicken but I think this is my new fave! If you like Mac salad I think the Kauai family has the BEST! Ugh I could eat a whole tub. Overall, always a great spot for lunch!” - Yelp Review

“I ordered the fish and chips and my boss had a sandwich of some kind. We are inside and the atmosphere was like the entire busy street of Magnolia disappeared. The breading on the fish was outstanding and by far the most delicious I've had in such a long time. Their fired here are the perfect thin balance of crunch and soft. I would suggest eating the dipping sauce offered, the flavor is amazing paired with the fish!” - Yelp Review

OJ, grapefruit juice, hot cocoa, and more are also available for the little ones.

“I had a delicious pomegranate mimosa and a cornmeal waffle with peaches, pecans, and lavender butter. The waffle was thinner than normal waffles but it gave it such a great crunchy texture. The toppings paired perfectly and I ate every bite. The waitstaff was friendly, answered all of my questions, and were very prepared to serve appropriately during COVID.” - Yelp Review

“SOI is one of the best upscale/modern Thai dining experiences in town. I'm going to get straight to the point the menu is pretty extensive. They serve a lot of traditional dishes like Khao Soi, som tum, and lard tod, but it definitely all has a modern twist to it. One of my favorite dishes here, is probably a boring selection but I'm obsessed with the Grapao Kai Dao. It's served with a fried egg and is definitely large enough for two people.” - Yelp Review
