Rodney Scott’s Whole Hog BBQ was born out of a friendship between Rodney Scott and Nick Pihakis. Through their relationship they found they shared a love for time and technique in order to make the very best barbecue. They both know that understanding the craft on a fundamental level makes every difference in the flavor of every food prepared. 

For instance, things like cooking over a live coal heat and making sure the embers used at the side of a bbq pit are directly under the meat, while regulating the heat and temperature make the meat have perfect flavor and texture.
