Castle Mountain Lodge has been welcoming guests since the 1950s. It is centered right between downtown and Rocky Mountain National Park. So you’ll have about an equal sized distance when traveling downtown or to the forest. This hotel is located at the base of Trail Ridge Road, which goes up to over 12,000 ft up into the alpine tundra of the Rocky Mountains. You also have easy access to the Old Fall River Road, which will give you a really scenic drive.
