What started as a part restaurant, part art gallery slowly became what R House Wynwood is today…a dang good time! Business partners and husbands Rocco Carulli and Owen Bale created R House Wynwood back in 2014, and it became one of the first restaurants opened in Wynwood! Soon after they met fabulous drag diva Athena Dion and DJ superstar DJ Jody McDonald, with their paths crossing it became obvious where this little place should go: a nationally acclaimed drag brunch place! 

Now R House Wynwood has special events weekly, their Happy House is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 4-7pm with drinks o’plenty, dishes like the Cuban sandwich, Empanadas, Charcuterie Boards, and more! While Drag Brunch is Saturday and Sunday at 11:30/11:45 and 2:30/2:45, you’ll get to see the very best drag performers in their element dazzling the crowd while enjoying their brunch package! This place has almost got it all. A 10,000 square foot food styled as a cool Asian market. With indoor and outdoor seating set in a space with a new-age hip hop soundtrack, 1-800-Lucky, (yes, that’s the name, isn’t it incredible?), is here to bring something a little different to the restaurant scene. They have seven vendors all doing a variety of their own Asian style dishes, two full bars, and a karaoke lounge, 1-800-Lucky is truly a place for people to come and unwind!

Now talking about everything 1-800-Lucky has would take a while, so let’s just give you a sneak preview into some of the restaurants along with some extra special things:

• Usagi Tokyo has Spicy and Veggie Tantan Ramen, Gold Marquess has sharable Roasted Char Siu Pork and Fried Rice (Chicken, Char Siu, or Veggie), and Poke OG has well…Poke! Signature bowels and Vegan Bowls of fun flavors are always ready to serve!
• Karaoke any day of the week, ready to set the stage with your amazing performance? Just head over to their Karaoke Room, pick a package, and get your friends ready for the show of the night!

Now this may not be your typical restaurant but we thought we’d add this spot to the list as it’s one of the top fun places to go for small bites and tasty drinks in the city, it’s Esotico Miami! This place is a new-age tropical themed bar that offers such great ambience it’ll feel like you’ve stepped into somewhere completely new. Located on the ground floor of CANVAS, Esotico is in the heart of Miami’s entertainment district, with that location it’s safe to say that this place brings the fun with their hand made cocktails, delicious cuisine, and live music from local artists. 

So on the dinner menu are items that come out hot and meant to be shared with others, here’s just some of the items they have right now: The Lamburghini, (a lamb burger), Spring Rolls, Truffle Dumplings, Vegan Chive Dumplings, Poke Bowls, and Maui Style BBQ Ribs. Esotico Miami also has tons of drink options from exotic cocktails, champagne/wine, rum, bottle service, and more!

On their lunch menu is Yellowfin Tuna Bhel and Crispy Cauliflower snacks, Roasted Calabaza Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala, breads, and chutney. While the dinner menu has those dishes plus more, and their drink menu has hand-crafted cocktails to pair perfectly with any meal!
