My jaw literally dropped when I first went to 53 By the Sea’s website because that is how incredible their view is from the dining room. And I wish I was being sarcastic about that or just using puffery, but my jaw literally did drop. The view lets you see the ocean all the way across the bay where you can see the Honolulu skyline. And on top of that breathtaking view they have also won a variety of awards for their food over the past couple years. 

Their menu consists of a variety of local seafood, modern American cuisine, and of course cocktails. And you can be sure that every part of that menu is just as breathtaking as the view. (Hence all the awards I mentioned earlier). And if the view and food is breathtaking, the ambiance and service are dyed to match. You can expect friendly and knowledgeable staff in the beautiful dining room. Or you can choose to sit on the patio and enjoy the ocean breeze at 53 By the Sea. They even have an overwhelmingly positive amount of feedback from their customers.

Tiki’s Bar & Grill has an amazing view of the ocean and you can even sit outside to make sure you have a totally unobstructed view of the sunset over the ocean. And on top of the amazing view they also serve up amazing local Hawaiian seafood that you can enjoy. But if you aren’t a seafood person, or you’ve had nothing but seafood since you got to Hawaii, then they also have plenty of chicken and excellent steak options available for you. 

But the thing that brings Tiki’s Bar & Grill up to the number two spot on my list of places with the best views in Honolulu is that they are famous for their cocktails. If you have ever had an underwhelming fruity cocktail at a bar then be prepared to be blown away. Island drinks are a lot better when they are made with real fresh tropical fruit. And that is exactly what you can expect at Tiki’s Bar & Grill. Be sure to bring a DD though because when I say these drinks are delicious I absolutely mean it.

Duke’s Waikiki is where surfing legend Duke Kahanamoku first honed his skills. He grew up surfing, canoeing, bodysurfing, and swimming on this very beach. So if you are looking for the most authentic Hawaiian views you can get, I mean how much better are you trying to do than where a surfing legend himself grew up and first honed his world famous skills? But when it comes to restaurants with amazing food and amazing views, then Duke’s deserves to be so high on the list today.

They have an all you can eat buffet option available for each meal for those who love to sample, as well as a traditional menu! Their breakfast menu is by far one of their biggest draws because it's world famous, but they also have a very extensive lunch and dinner menu. They have everything from fish tacos, to a Mango BBQ VBacon Cheeseburger! So no matter how big your party is, I’m sure everybody will find something they enjoy while they stare at the breathtaking views at Duke’s Waikiki.

So XO Restaurant does have a great view of the beach. It also has an incredible menu consisting of a mixture of New American inspired cuisine, Asain Fusion, and cocktails. But in my opinion, what brings them to my list of the best restaurants with a view is that they treat their employees really well. And I can tell you first hand that this means that you are going to get amazing food and amazing customer service.

Everything from filet Mignon to seared scallops to Ahi Tuna Tacos are on the menu. And that’s before you even crack open their extensive list of cocktails!
