This smokehouse has a patio that sits right on the bank of the Trinity River. Dogs are welcome in their gravel area, and they even have a special menu just for pups!

As for humans, this restaurant specializes in all things grilled, roasted, and slow-cooked. They offer a daily rotating selection of beef, lamb, pork, cabrito, wild game, fish, and vegetables. Some menu favorites include the Pork Ribs, the Beef Ribs, and the Lamb Brisket.

What’s new on the menu? Bulgogi Salmon Tacos topped with chipotle aioli, pepita slaw, cotija, and lime. Yum!

They’re made with lean Angus beef, cooked medium well, and served on a grilled Brioche bun. Each burger comes with your side of golden fries, lattice-cut potato chips, baked beans, or coleslaw, or onion rings or sweet potato fries for an additional charge. You can substitute any burger for a Black Bean Patty or a Turkey Patty at no additional charge.

Other offerings include sandwiches, wings, and salads. The Texas Chicken Caesar is beloved by locals and visitors alike. It’s best described as a “Texas twist on the traditional Caesar.” It’s your basic Caesar salad with romaine, parmesan cheese, and homemade croutons, with the addition of red peppers, sweet corn, sun-dried tomatoes, cilantro, and black beans.

Some menu highlights include the Shaved Lomo, Apple, Celery Seed, and Fontina Flatbread, oven fired to perfection blending savory shaved lomo, creamy fontina, earthy celery seed, and semi-sweet apple, and the Aigua de Valencia, a cocktail smooth and sweet that’s balanced with a blend of orange and the Spanish sparkling wine Cava.

Personally, we love José’s Tacos, two tacos filled with Iberico ham and topped with caviar and gold flakes. And for dessert, you must try the Cream Catalana.

branch & bird offers contemporary cuisine and an array of cocktails, beer, and wine. Their dining highlights regionally sourced and seasonal ingredients from small artisan farmers and ranchers. Menu highlights include the Prosciutto and Pear Flatbread with fresh mozzarella, blue cheese crumbles, wild arugula, bosc pear, sliced ham prosciutto, and housemade rosemary oil, the Open Face Salmon BLT with seared salmon, tomato, lettuce, avocado, bacon, and ranch dressing, and their Gnocchi Pork Ragu with burrata and pea greens. 

Be sure to try their Churro Donut, topped with cinnamon sugar, chili lime syrup, and dulce de leche ice cream, and their House Chocolate Cake for dessert. 

Their High-Rise Happy Hour runs Wednesday-Friday from 4pm - 6pm. So come then for a featured cocktail, margaritas, and beer and wine for $5 each.

This cozy coffee shop is a great place to grab a cup or Texas craft coffee or a glass of beer. More than that, Brewed is all about creating comfort, great conversations, and providing magical moments for their guests.

BREWED’s house made syrups will taste delicious in your morning cup of coffee. Choose from vanilla, cinnamon, mocha, honey simple, caramel, and seasonal syrups - you can’t go wrong with any of them. If you want to branch out, try one of their specialty drinks like the Candy Bar Latte, made with espresso, steamed milk, caramel, and vanilla syrup.

BREWED also serves breakfast all day which we love. Some menu favorites are the House-Made Granola Bowl, the Magnolia Chicken Biscuit, and the Pulled Pork Hash. The Bacon Banana Belgian Waffles leaves some people convicted, but if you struggle to choose between a sweet and savory breakfast this might be the one for you. It comes with one house-made Belgian waffle topped with caramelized banana, bacon, espresso whip cream, and BREWED maple syrup. Yum!

If lunch food is more your style, they have burgers, sandwiches, and soups. When in doubt, you can’t go wrong with the BREWED Burger, topped with BREWED sauce, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, and house-made pickles, and served on a sourdough bun.
