All burgers are 1/2 pound all-natural Niman Ranch beef with no antibiotics or hormones served on a sesame bun with mayo, lettuce, onions, side of pickles and your choice of french fries or a spring mix salad, but there are 25 different kinds of burgers with different toppings and sauces to choose from. Be sure to get the Gladiator fries to split with the table, roasted garlic fries topped with grilled chicken, feta, and parmesan cheese and covered in Caesar dressing.

MOD Pizza is the original “super fast pizza joint,” or, one of the first places where you can get build-your-own, over the counter pizza. It’s a chain, but artisan style pizza served hot and quick is not something you come by every day. We love that you can start with the size you want and build from there, choosing different sauces, cheese, dressing, meat, and veggies from an array of over 30 toppings. They recommend topping off your pie with strips and a drink for a delicious, complete meal.

Family-owned and operated since 1935, this is one Italian restaurant in the West Sacramento area you want to support. Many of the original recipes from 85 years ago are still served to today. The House Made Ravioli with your choice of beef and vegetable or cheese and vegetable and the House Made Ravioli and Spaghetti Combination are two local favorites. While the Club Pheasant Special, fresh ground beef patty with American cheese and topped with ravioli is a dish we are dying to try! If you don’t start off with something fried for an appetizer, you’re doing it wrong. There’s Fried Ravioli, Fried Zucchini, Fried Chicken Strips, Onion Rings, and Fried Calamari. Pick your poison!

Head chef and owner, Eric Kuang, is a master of Cantonese and American Chinese cuisine, and he not only offers a menu chock-full of Chinese American favorites, but he also offers off-menu dishes with some notice required ahead of time. From Orange Chicken and Broccoli Beef to Salty Fish and Chicken Fried Rice and the Peace Cuisine Special Vermicelli, you can enjoy your go-to order or try something new. There are even some delicious vegan and vegetarian options like Spicy Eggplant and Mapo Tofu (we can’t get enough Mapo Tofu!). Stop in during lunch for their lunch special where you can enjoy your favorite plates for as little as $8.95.
