You must be at least 21 years old to enter and in order to keep on enjoying that fresh air, Q Rooftop Bar is a smoke and vape free establishment! This is a “seasonal” bar, the hot spot is open during warmer weather, and since it’s all outside you want to make sure to dress comfortably for the weather!

Offering craft cocktails, beers, wine, top shelf liquor, coffee, and some indulgences to pair with that drink! This hotspot is high up in stature and in exclusivity, Kabana Rooftop is the highest rooftop restaurant and lounge in Richmond, VA! Located on the 20th floor of Hilton’s Hampton Inn Suites in the downtown area in Richmond, Kabana Rooftop offers unbeatable views of the city and the James River! 

Their menu has a variation of contemporary New American and Mediterranean styles of foods including but not limited to, Papri Chaat, Masala Dosa, Chili Wings, and Red Pepper Scallops small plates. House Daal, Shrimp Moilee, and Shahi Paneer rotating curry pots, breads, desserts, and specialty drinks!

Kabana Rooftop is currently renovating with all new interior and exteriors, with outdoor heating being added to have the rooftop open year-round! They plan to open back up in May 2022, so check out their website for more details on the re-opening and booking a spot!

Offering a menu that is homage to the postbellum cooking style and recipes, this restaurant in Richmond, Virginia is aptly named Postbellum. From snacks, to brunch and dinner, with 26 craft beers on tap, wines, and craft cocktails, this restaurant has a variety of foods and drinks to indulge in their indoor dining area, outdoor patio or the rooftop deck!

Postbellum has their own rooftop bar that is constantly rotating drinks in and out of the menu, so you may want to check what they are currently serving or give a call ahead of time so you can decide on what you are going to get!

There is always a view at the Catbird Rooftop Terrace, with panoramic views of Longwood University and downtown! Though it is not exactly in Richmond, it’s a little ways outside the city, so if you are really enjoying what Catbird Rooftop Terrace has to offer, it might be worth the drive!

Any patron at the Catbird Rooftop Terrace can enjoy selections of cocktails, craft beers, wines, and small plates of delicious savory food. They are a “seasonal” restaurant, as the rooftop is best to be enjoyed when it’s warmer outside, as of March 29th, 2022 it is back open and ready to serve!

You can share shareable items like smoked pimento cheese with housemade chips or a charcuterie board. Charred tomato bisque soup, classic salads, handheld smoked turkey and havarti and rooftop roast beef sandwiches! They have their own drink menu that offer signature cocktails, sangrias, white, red, and rosé wine, and draft beers! A perfect place for a good time with your friends/family!

Located in the iconic Hofheimer building, The HofGarden pays homage to the Hofgarten (Court Garden) in Munich! The first floor is the Taproom, the second floor is The Loft that has seating and is The HofGarden’s event space, then the main attraction, the third floor Rooftop Restaurant! 

Serving a variety of light foods like pizzas, shareable platters, flatbreads, sliders, charcuterie boards, and salads! Their drink menu is extensive with craft cocktails, wines, and beers. With some non-alcoholic drinks too!

The HofGarden is family friendly, but all people under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult and starting at 6pm it does go to 21 years and older service. The entire venue, including the rooftop, is smoke-free for the comfortability of all restaurant goers! You can book events and private events too, this place is great for any goings-on!
