Two sisters, Sandy and Susan, wanted to bring the street-style tacos that they grew up with while living in Texas. They started Tin Roof Tacos in 2016 and Idaho is forever grateful. They have a covered patio and a fire pit so you can enjoy your tacos outdoors while keeping toasty.

As you can imagine, Tin Roof Tacos serves a plethora of tacos. In fact, their menu is surprisingly big. Who knew there could be so many tacos? You can choose between breakfast, pork, chicken and beef veggies, and seafood. Name your ingredient and Tin Roof Tacos could probably make a taco out of it. They even have a fried fruit taco! They also have bottled beer and beer on tap to enjoy with your tacos. So what are you waiting for?

4620 W Overland Rd | Boise | andradesrestaurant.com

The first thing you'll notice about Andrade Restaurante Mexicano is the bright blue of the building. They never said they were subtle! Inside, the walls are painted in vibrant colors and there's this amazing mural of a tropical paradise. Live plants are around the restaurant giving the entire atmosphere a more tropical feel to it. It's a memorable restaurant just with the atmosphere alone.

Javier Andrade, the owner of the restaurant, wished to bring authentic Mexican cuisine straight from his ancestors to the locals of Idaho. He brought the tastes, aromas, and colors of Mexico to Andrade Restaurante Mexicano. The locals will forever appreciate his vision and will remain a beloved restaurant in Idaho.

They have a massive menu which is fun to read as you'll find little bits of facts about the dishes or the food. For example, the Puerco Uruapan is a dish that's from Javier's hometown. It's pork loin sauteed with zucchini, corn, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and jalapeno. Talk about delicious! And you have to try the Pineapple Cheesecake for dessert. It'll leave you feeling full with a new memory to cherish.

"If I could give 10 stars I would. Great location and even better food. The food is the BEST Mexican I have found in Idaho. It actually has flavor and doesn't leave a film of grease on your plate. The jalapeño margarita is literally the best drink I have ever had. Like could be a problem good. Hehe. I will be back. Burritos are delicious. Tamales delicious. Enchiladas delicious." - Yelp Review
