The building has been standing in Carytown— an area of Richmond known for its shopping and dining —since 1814, and the restaurant itself has been there since 1999 after it was started by a man named Mike Barber!

For the entire week, Station 2 stays open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., so you can really buy a burger at any time of day here except for breakfast! And speaking of their burgers, they offer so many choices that you could probably eat here more than once a day!

In fact, you may not be able to come here in the early morning, but they do serve brunch! They also have desserts, including the very popular adult milkshakes, salads, starters, gourmet, and griddle-pressed burgers.

You can order from Station 2 for pick-up online, or else just eat in the restaurant! The building used to be a firehouse, hence the name!

Citizen Burger Bar takes COVID regulations and guest safety very seriously so you can feel secure while you dine there. They also take care with their ingredients and primarily use things from the Richmond area to make their delicious food!

As far as the food goes, you can order online for takeout or go in person to eat at Citizen Burger Bar! While the star of their menu is the custom and specialty burgers, there are also choices of appetizers and salads, as well as a dessert section. And, if you’re in the mood for a sandwich and not a burger, try the chicken sandwich or grilled cheese!

This restaurant is open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. However, the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. every day of the week, so if you want a burger and not just drinks, you’ll have to stop in before then!

And that meal can include more than just a burger, too! There are salads, starters, as well as an entire section of white meat sandwich options and vegetarian ones, too! Even if you’re not a burger enthusiast, you could probably find something to enjoy here.

Boulevard Burger and Brew is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday it stays open for an extra hour until 10 p.m. You can get takeout from here, order catering, or dine-in.

This restaurant truly has everything that comes between two slices of bread— all different kinds of bread, too, even waffles! Every kind of sandwich is available here, and so of course there’s an entire section of the menu devoted to burgers!

There are also shareable plates, however, and salad bowls, as well as some dessert options. In addition, there are entirely separate menus for brunch, kids, and the bar— each with their own host of choices! 

If you want brunch, come between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., though burgers are more of a lunch or dinner food. Regular hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and then 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. This restaurant puts an emphasis on having high quality ingredients due to its inspiration from New Zealand cuisine. The care they take in making their food certainly seems to have paid off, as their burgers have won many awards and continually win over their customers.
