Friends Coming Home - Here's How You Should Convert It Into A Food Feast

Nowadays, friends gathering doesn't happen often. But when it happens, you take full advantage of it and enjoy yourself to the maximum.

Sometimes it gets impossible to have leisure time for yourself, and meeting with friends becomes even more difficult.

But now, if you have arranged such a meet-up at your place, you must make it memorable for everyone. So you better understand that food is going to be a major thing while hosting a get-together.

As cooking might feel hectic for you, the following quick recipes will help you. To make your guests feel welcome, you should not look to order anything from outside. So roll up your sleeves and test your cooking skills.

1. Make A Pizza

Making a pizza can be a great thing to treat the guests with, and it also doesn't consume much of your time.

Take a packet of dry yeast,

An equal amount of flour,

A pinch of salt,

Two tablespoons of olive oil.

Now set up the mixture and make the dough for the pizza. Get mozzarella cheese according to your preference and arrange the chicken topping. Also, add some sauce concerning the flavor you want to get. For example, you may choose from BBQ, Alfredo, or Pepperoni.

Preheat the oven to a high temperature so the dough doesn't get burned when you see the dough getting a brownish look. Take the pizza out. Do some topping of veggies like capsicum to boost the taste. Cut your pizza for a presentable look as it is ready for serving.

2. 15 min Pasta Recipe

Youngsters like such things to eat, and also, it is easy to make so

First, you need to boil the pasta.

Meanwhile, A sizable nonstick frying pan should be heated very quickly.

Cook the prawns for 5 minutes, tossing one or twice, or until they curl and change color. Or you may get boneless chicken pieces as you had used in pizza.

Add cream and boil the mixture. Peas and lemon juice are then added and cooked while stirring for 2 minutes.

Now add the pasta along with half of the dill and lemon zest. Combine by tossing. You may add some cream to give a creamy shape.

3. Provide A Geographical Touch

You should think out of the box to make this meet-up memorable.

So add a Chinese dish to the menu, and what is easier than making a beef Chow mein? Avoid adding chicken to it because you already have used it

This is another recipe that won't keep you in the kitchen for long.

2 nests of wholemeal noodles

2 teaspoons sesame or rapeseed oil

Strips of 200g lean fillet steak with fat removed

1 small red onion, cut coarsely

15g of peeled, chopped ginger

160g of chopped chestnut mushrooms

160g of cooked beansprouts and two minced garlic cloves

Brown rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon

Cut four 65g spring onions into diagonal lengths.

Cook the noodles in hot water. In the meantime, heat half the oil in a wok over high heat, stirring the meat for 30 seconds or until browned.

Place on a platter and set away. Add the remaining oil to the wok after that. The onion and ginger should be stir-fried until tender. Cook covered for two to three minutes, adding a drop of water to prevent burning.

Add the remaining ingredients and cook them well. Toss the drained noodles in the wok before adding the beef, the other ingredients mixture, and spring onions. Stir-fry for a few minutes to fully reheat. Serve after liberally peppering with black pepper.

While preparing food, consider making unique drinks your friends haven't had before.

A novel takes on the typical espresso martini nightcap that is strangely different.

With Coffee & Coke, the harshness of the espresso from our neighborhood roasters, Second State, balances the warmth of the rye, while Coca-surprise Cola's effervescence and subtle sweetness add a surprising touch.

Due to its distinctive taste profile, which combines orange, coffee, and chocolate, this cocktail is a wonderful way to conclude the evening and a perfect way to start it.

1 oz. Rittenhouse Rye

½ teaspoon Gran Classico

½ teaspoon Mancino Rosso Vermouth

1 tablespoon espresso

1 dash of chocolate bitters

1 oz. of Cola

Shake vigorously for 10 seconds, then double-strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Add a chilled Coke on top and an orange slice as a garnish.
