Bigham Tavern is a great Pittsburgh bar that’s located in Mt. Washington-- not far from the Shiloh Street Shops. Wednesday is wing night at this spot-- and the place is always packed.

Customers love not only their delicious wings and variety of sauces-- they also can’t get enough of their burgers and loaded sandwiches. If you’re looking for a great place with some solid bar food-- and a fantastic beer selection as well-- look no further!

William Penn Tavern is great spot to watch the game, meet with friends, or to enjoy some delicious food. It might not look like it-- but this bar has some unbeatable appetizers-- you’ll have a hard time decided which ones to get!

From flatbreads, to sandwiches, to burgers-- Smokin’ Joe’s Saloon seems to have all the bar food you could ever want. It’s also nice to know that you can wash it all down with any one of their 60 beers on draft.

There are a lot of wing spots in Pittsburgh, but as far as the South Side goes-- these could easily be the best there are. This place gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays, so make sure you get there early!

Redbeard’s has two locations-- one in downtown Pittsburgh-- as well as on Shiloh St. in Mt. Washington. Located just down the street from the Monongahela Incline this place gets full of hungry tourists and locals alike. Who could say no to their amazing wings, hoagies, or club sandwich with honey mustard?

They service here is always friendly-- and they are more than willing to make and dietary changes to your order should you need it.

Winghart’s is known throughout Pittsburgh for their hand cranked burgers-- there are so many options to choose from on their menu you might have to make a couple of visits! Birmingham Bridge Tavern is off Carson Street in the South Side-- but it’s not hard to find at all. Just follow the people headed in for their fantastic bar food and amazing beer selection. Located a little further past the Birmingham Bridge, this place is an easy walk from the main area of the South Side.

There is always a food and drink special for each day of the week-- locals just can’t get enough of all the beer options and food from their on-site BBQ pit.

8. Kelly’s Bar and Lounge

Walking and checking out all the stores and shops the Strip District has to offer can be exhausting. Why not stop into the  BeerHive when you’re done for some pub grub and beers?
