Not everyone loves breakfast and not everyone loves lunch, but most people can find something they’ll enjoy on any brunch menu. Brunch brings about the best of both worlds for people who don’t necessarily like to stick to particular time frames when it comes to eating their meals, as well as people who have a hard time making up their minds. In Orlando there is no shortage of people who fit into both of these categories. That being said, it isn’t always easy to find the brunch restaurant that’s the best fit for you. Luckily, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best.

Below, you’ll find the eight best places to get your brunch on in Orlando this weekend.

They serve breakfast all day long and lunch for about half of that time, so find that happy medium time to stop by, and everyone will be happy with their brunch options. Choose between waffles and paninis or omelets and burgers.

Se7en Bites

Website: se7enbites.com

Address: 617 N Primrose Dr, Orlando, FL 32803

Neighborhood: Colonialtown Center

As a restaurant that has actually been praised on Food Network, you know the brunch is good here. Image courtesy of Se7en Bites Instagram

Well, fry us in oil and call us french fries because while the folks at Se7en Bites have a pretty standard menu as far as breakfast and lunch options go, they sure are doing something right! They were even recently featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.”

With a hometown-y diner feel, we reckon you’ll feel right at home when you settle in for brunch at Se7en Bites. Off the breakfast menu, enjoy savory dishes like their eggs benedict or go for something that morphs sweet and savory flavors together, like their Minnie Pearl.

Their lunch menu features a wide array of southern comfort foods that will leave you feeling full and satisfied, like their chicken pot pie (which was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives) or their 5-cheese mac n’ cheese.

The Stubborn Mule

Website: thestubbornmuleorlando.com

Address: 100 S Eola Dr, Orlando, FL 32801

Neighborhood: Thornton Park

Who ever said a little stubbornness is a bad thing? At The Stubborn Mule, their unwillingness to compromise on using the freshest ingredients they can actually works in your favor. Image courtesy of The Stubborn Mule Instagram.

The folks at The Stubborn Mule sure are stubborn...but only when it comes to making sure they only use locally sourced food for all the options they have on their menu. Some of their signature drinks include specialty mule cocktails that you’re always welcome to pair with your brunch.

Their brunch menu is made up of a variety of creative dish names that are almost as creative as the recipes that make up those dishes! Owned and operated by two recent graduates from the Culinary Institute of America, The Stubborn Mule strives to be as creative as possible, and they love working with local vendors to source all their ingredients.

“Best brunch place in Orlando! From the moment we got there to the time we left we were treated amazingly by our server and she definitely hooked it up with the mimosas.” - Yelp Review

There aren’t many restaurants out there that can make your tastebuds dance with their bold, tasty flavors. Dixie Belle’s Cafe, however, is one of the few that really can.

With a menu that combines the flavors of American cuisine we’re all familiar with and some Mexican dishes as well, you’re bound to find some dishes that you’ll want to eat again and again when you stop by this Orlando hotspot for brunch.

Eggs are a staple here at Dixie Belle’s Cafe, but it’s everything they can do with their eggs that makes all the difference here. You can enjoy your eggs in scramblers, omelets, cooked sunny-side up, or even benedict, and there are so many yummy flavors they incorporate into every dish!

The Hammered Lamb

Website: thehammeredlamb.com

Address: 1235 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32804

Neighborhood: Ivanhoe

Not only are they environmentally conscious at The Hammered Lamb, but their brunch is some of the best in the city as well! Image courtesy of The Hammered Lamb Instagram

If you’re looking for a new brunch spot that has both tasty food and some forward-thinking ideas that they’ve brought with them to their restaurant, The Hammered Lamb is the place for you to start going to on the regular.

At this restaurant right across from Lake Ivanhoe, they are particularly adamant that we all need to do a better job of protecting the environment - and they’ve been taking some of the first steps to be an example to the other restaurants in Orlando.

They have completely cut plastic straws out of their inventory so a turtle will never be harmed as a result of their trash again. They’ve also been transitioning into cutting out plastic and styrofoam from their to-go containers!

“If you're looking for a great brunch spot, Hammered Lamb is the place. It offers a great vibe, delicious food and is pet friendly! Also, did I mention they give out train shots?” - Yelp Review

Le Cafe de Paris

Website: shopcafeparis.com

Address: 5170 Dr. Phillips Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819

Neighborhood: Dr. Phillips

If you can’t make it to Paris itself, Cafe Paris is your next best bet - brought to Orlando by some French natives! Image courtesy of Le Cafe de Paris Instagram

It’s unclear where the concept of brunch first originated, but we’ll just say this: a lot of people have come to associate it closely with France, though, so we’re gonna go with that.

Le Cafe de Paris is an authentic Parisian cafe located right in Orlando. And when we say it’s authentic, we mean it. The owners, Claude and Chantal, are originally from France. They are coffee connoisseurs, and they’re not too shabby in the food department, either.

You can enjoy traditional espresso with your croque madame or the crepes of your choice in a relaxed, Parisian atmosphere. Their paninis are pretty popular amongst their regulars, as well!

“I absolutely love this restaurant, it is the best authentic French cafe I have found.  This is a family owned restaurant, and you can tell!  The staff is very personable and hospitable.” - Yelp Review

Maxine’s on Shine

Website: maxinesonshine.com

Address: 337 N Shine Ave, Orlando, FL 32803

Neighborhood: Colonialtown South

It may only come around on the weekends, but brunch is well worth waiting the rest of the week at Maxine’s! Image courtesy of Maxine’s on Shine Instagram

Brunch is only available on Saturdays and Sundays here at Maxines on Shine, but it’s well worth the time you’ll have to wait until then.

Keep in mind that the majority of their brunch menu is made up of more savory options, so we wouldn’t recommend stopping by this particular weekend if you’re dead-set on having pancakes, but their savory options are quite delicious as it is.

You can enjoy quiches, southern brunch classics like chicken and waffles, and omelets packed with unexpected ingredients like lobster, brie, and even brisket! And if you make it to the end of the meal and are still craving something sweet, they have a few desserts available as well.

“Wow. We went for an amazing Sunday brunch. Bloody Mary homemade recipe was exceptional.  Then we had amazing crab cakes, a quiche, and best fried green tomatoes ever.” - Yelp Review

You can find brunch on almost any corner in Orlando (we think it might just have to do with the sunshine), but finding that place that will become a regular spot for you isn’t always easy. These are some of our absolute favorites in the city.
